Well known for having a reputation for innovation and quality the company were the first to develop a wireless monitor that could accurately read your heart rate within a competitive and exercising environment.
If you have never used a heart rate monitor polar watch before it is better to start off with an entry level model such as the the polar fs3c. This will give you the basic functions that monitors and tracks your performance and fitness levels. These include measuring your average and maximum heart rate levels. You can also set your heart rate target zone based on your age which enables you reach your maximum exertion and intensity levels. Verdict
The FS3 is a good basic HRM watch for the beginner however, it is a step up from the the Polar FS2. The features maybe limited but for the price you pay you are getting a quality product that does the basics well. For the more serious keep fit fanatic or athlete you will will probably not be impressed by the lack of features and you may wish to look for a model with more options such as the Polar F11.
